Kenya: Film Board To Stop Content On DStv With Alleged 'Homosexual' Themes

The Kenyan Film Classification Board (KFCB) says it has had to ban a number of children's programme on the DStv and GOtv platforms for allegedly promoting gay themes.

Mr Ezekiel Mutua, CEO of KFCB said it had taken the precaution because of public complaints that the content seems to glorify gay behaviour. The banned shows include 'The Legend of Korra', 'Hey Arnold', 'Loud House' all from the  Nickelodeon stables as well as 'Steven Universe', 'Adventure Time' from Cartoon Network.

Responding, the PRO for Multichoice, the organisation will take necessary steps to ensure compliance.
