Cameroun Targets 2018 To Complete Digital Switchover

The Inspector General in Cameroon's Ministry of Communications, Prof. Felix Zogo have told industry press that he expects Cameroun to complete the analogue to digital migration by the end of 2018.

Speaking in Beijing, China, Prof Zogo said further funding arrangements had been concluded with EXIM Bank of China that will ensure the switchover programme is concluded to the new deadline. The digitisation process is already completed in Cameroun's main cities of Yaounde and Doula and what is remaining is to roll-out across other parts of the country.
